1. Boating – Nearly 90 million adults in the U.S. alone regularly participate in recreational boating. From sailboats to pontoon boats and speed boats, people love the feeling they get of navigating the water and exploring new areas of lakes and oceans. Boat rentals are incredibly populars on lakes all across the United States and typically for very affordable rates. If you aren’t sure about the prices in your area just call the nearest full service marina and ask about what types of boat they have and the per hour and full day pricing for each one.

2. Jet Skiing – Another awesome water activity that people love is jet skiing. Jet skis are smaller than boats, and can hold one to four adults depending on the specific model. Whether you own your own or perfer to use jet ski rentals, there is never a dull time on a jet ski. Various motor sizes mean that the jet ski can reach speeds anywhere between 15 and 60 mph. Jet ski rentals are also reasonably priced and can typically be rented by the hour or by the day. 3. Wakeboarding – Wakeboarding can be seen on lakes all over America because people absolutely love doing it. This water sport is similar to skiing, except for rather than standing on two skis, the rider stands on what looks like snowboard to go back and forth over the wake that the boat is making.
